Involvement and service within the greater Harpswell community is a central mission of the Kellogg Church.  Here is a quick summary of our most visible community activities.

• ASK: After School Kellogg, a program for local youth on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3 to 6 p.m. Abundant food and fun for the 10 to 14-year-old set.

• Nursery School: Housed and supported by the church, the Harpswell Community Nursery School offers a discovery-based curriculum in a caring environment. See www.harpswellnurseryschool.org

• Cribbage: meets monthly; check the calendar for the next cribbage game.
• Yard Sale

• Parents with Babies

• Chicken Barbecue - An annual event enjoyed by the church members, the community, and our summer visitors.  The barbecue is held on the last Saturday of July. 
  

• SummerDays@Kellogg - a theme camp for kids entering grades 1-7.  The theme for last year's camp was "nature and the environment," including field trips to Eagle Island and the Bowdoin Coastal Studies Center.  Click here  to see a brief slide show.

• "Christmas by the Sea" Holiday Fair -     Crafts, baked goods, country store, dried flowers, treasures, men's table, and our famous silent auction.  Santa will be a special guest!  Lunch includes lobster rolls, chowder, hot dogs, and pies.  For more information, contact Sid Woodbury.
